- The title is introduced through a continuous and smooth transition from the production company, to the title. The title is in same format as before. We just see a change in colour. This is to keep audience awake.
-We see the main protagonist shopping with a smile on her face indicating she is happy. This highlights the fact that stereotypically, when girl's shop, they are happy. The Audience also see's a group of girl's in a car. These two shots show the social life the girl has and could tell us that the movie relates to money and teenagers making the younger generation enjoy it more.
- In the next 3 shots we see typical genre convention of teenage drama / rom-com the setting highlights the genre conventions. These settings include a party a pool party and a cafe where groups of people are hanging out
- The main character is introduced in this scene when she sorts her hair out and walks to her wardrobe to find her outfit. We see a medium close up of her choosing her clothing with a computer
- The protagonist's dad is introduced. The dad seems busy But overprotective
