- The opening credits are in red making the audience already know that this movie conforms to mystery and enigma. The font is in serif writing making it eerie.
- The first shot you see is not your typical establishing shot we would expect to see at opening of a film it does conform to the typical genre of horror by creating a sense of perplexity among the viewer.
- The text that is on top of the white circle that fades and disappears as the shape turns and becomes a light. This object leads us to the house whilst creating a sense of insecurity. this is a form of enigma.
- The dark room with the toys and the child in it connotes a sense of mystery and the unknown.
- The camera follows a pale unknown face she looks like a typical feared character.
