I will be looking at three opening sequences 1 which is not of my genre to differentiate the differences of my chosen genre..
NUMBER 2
Romance Comedy
The opening sequence starts with a cloudy background and white writing of the production company "TouchPictures" presents. in left Botton corner. The background of clouds move like there is a storm and the writing fades away.
We see a continuese pan of the stormy sky and another production company in the bottom middle screen "A Neal h.moritz production"
Still the same background of the moving stormy clouds we get more white san serif writing of who made the film " A film by, Andy Tennant" his name was writing with no capital.
The background pans down to a scene of two kids in stormy weather. On the Botton right hand corner we get the name of the leading actress "Reese Witherspoon"
The scene pans down to where kids are playing and the title of the movie is shown. the top writing is big and bold with yellow "SWEET HOME" and under is "Alabama" is thin san-serif/fix-width writing
Whilst the scene progresses and we see two kids playing we get the names of more actors/actress such as "Josh Lucas" bottom left corner, "Patrick Dempsey", bottom right corner, "Fed Ward" bottom left and"Mary KayPlace" bottom right.
